Whatever happened to the charming ol’ Lord Faren??

You saw him a good amount of times from around levels 1 to 20 in the Human Nobility personal story, but after that, no more! I looked around my home instance, and couldn’t find him. Even though he didn’t play the biggest part in the overall story, he is still supposed to be a close friend to your character, and personally, I found him to be really amusing and enjoyable!

I demand more elegant dinner parties with the Tyrian 1% with Lord Faren by my side while he tries to woo the hearts of ladies. He’s rich you know.

He’s inside a house, so make sure you explore all the doors on Manor Hill that can be opened.

I would appreciate to be able to make my female character can seduce! Too bad we can not attach a character crossed.
Orders recruiters either, I find no traces, is that in a future extension, we’ll find them?

Nope. My female human warrior totally wanted to ask him out.

My female Human Mesmer rolls her eyes at his antics, but still finds him endearing in the manner of an older sister watching out for a rambunctious younger brother. She knows his heart’s in the right place, but Faren’s always been a little too intimidated by her to really woo her. (In the same way I don’t believe Faren’s ever tried to court Anise or even Jennah, because he knows they’re way out of his league.)

It’ll take a much more commanding, indomitable Charr- er, man to win her heart. XD

My girl has spent too many tipsy evenings teasing Faren about his fear of commitment to take the risk.

Faren is awesome. If only he’d been around during the later parts of my story as well…

Thank you! Totally found him… however it appears that Lord Faren was goofing off and found himself stuck in an elegant couch! It made my character laugh till his stomach hurt! Sadly, I couldn’t get him out, so we’ll have to bro out another time hehe

Hope ArenaNet finds a way to implement him in the game again!

That’s the one thing that sucks the most about the story line in this game. They have all these really great characters from your home town that you fall in love with, but then just drop out of the story line. Then another great character for a mentor from your order that ends up dying. Then a kitteny kitten character that trumps you right out of the picture at then end. It’s just plain bad storytelling. Any book or movie that had that happen would be a major flop, if anyone was stupid to produce/publish it to begin with. I swear AN put all the good writers on the beginning story arcs, and put some noob intern writer for the Trehearne story line.
