Needs more drama
Brechnar’s sacrifice is a little less dramatic when you could have pre-aggroed all of the Mursaat by running ahead of him so they don’t use Spectral Agony on him, only for him to run to a specific spot and then drop dead anyway. :P
Who else thinks the story needs more drama much like the kind we got in the original Guild Wars? I know it wasn’t AMAZING but it was entertaining when:
- Rurik got snuck up on by Dagnar and brutally slashed
- Vizier Khilbron being the final villain and manipulating the heroes (us)
- Undead Lich/Vizier speaking to ‘that person’
- ‘That person’ turning out to be Zombie Rurik’
- Brechnar Ironhammer sacrificing himself by doing a leeroy jenkins
- Shiro’s tragic back story
Etc etc.
The only deaths in GW2 have been off camera and forgotten about moments later, while I do enjoy the new style of ‘cut-scenes’ they’ve made, I really do miss the old ones where it felt more engaging.
I just feel the story needs more suspense and drama.
