Hi, my Ranger just finished the rescue the children from the undead in the swamp story mission. I chose the Durmond Priory NPC to help with that. I was hoping to have her join the Durmond Priory when the choice came up at the next part of the story, but the only choices offered were Order of Whispers, or Vigil.

Did my prior choice to use the Priory method in the last mission now exclude the Priory from my choice of orders? When I did this on my Necro, I chose the Vigil’s method, and I thought I remembered being able to choose from all 3 (I chose OoW for her).

No that’s how it actually works. You get a set of challenges to get to try out the orders before deciding which to join, and for these you can only help two of the three orders. Don’t worry, when you will be prompted with choosing one, you will get all three options, regardless of what paths you had chosen before.

But I didn’t get that. I chose the Priory NPC to help with the swamp mission. After that, the next part was to return to Divinity’s Reach and make the choice of Order. Only the Vigil and OoW were available as choices of orders to join. I’m very disappointed, as I had to choose the Vigil, since I already have an OoW character.
