Guild Wars 2

I have a problem with my personal storyline skipping 5-10 missions and have had no luck posting this problem anywhere else. There is no in-game help, my “ask a question” tickets have been completely ignored, and it appears that there is almost no customer support for this game.
Without further ado, here is my problem.

Both my friend and I are Asuran, and we had gone through every part of the personal storyline together up to where we had to choose one of the three orders to join. I did not know that his choice would affect my storyline, but once he chose the whispers, it automatically placed me in the order of whispers too, but it skipped my personal storyline many missions ahead to a point where I gave up because it was impossible at the time and I had no wish to complete a story that was not mine.

I had wanted to join the Priory, not the Whispers. I’ve asked multiple times on the “ask a question” for someone to set my storyline back 5-10 missions because of this mess-up, and have not even had a single response.

Any help appreciated, as I cannot enjoy this game whilst knowing that my personal storyline is not so personal.
