So i was wondering, is it possible to rush through personal story quests while being low level ? with a high lvl help ofc. Or story quests has some level requirement to be able to enter instance ?

Your high lvl helper gets scaled down to the story lvl and you will get more mobs to fight.

I do know that high levels get scaled down, but i allso know that lvl 80 exotic geared scaled down to lvl 30 player > actual lvl 30 player by A LOT. All im interested if it possible to enter high level quest instance by a low lvl player. You see, I want commando armors that are obtainable from few 70-80 lvl quests but dont rly want to level new character so high

Well, that’s not possible to skip your quest to go straight to that one. Joining a friend doing those quests makes that almost impossible to complete since you are basically useless and he gets more mobs there, also you won’t get his reward.

So you can’t skip But some story quests are really awesome, and if you are still leveling yourself, these quests give loads of xp.

No not skip, simply complete every quest from 1 to 80 ( exept last one). Lvl 80 exotic geared player with good build could take on those mobs even if its 2x or more. Im not leveling, im lvl 80 long time allready and have my story completed 100 %. I just want commando skins that are obtainable only via last story quests and I ( DUMB kitten!) have deleted

If you are asking if a lvl 80 can join you and carry you through each part of your story the answer is yes.

No, Im askin if its possible to do all story line quests w/o any extra leveling. That would end up in character being many levels lower then story quests it would be doing. For example if level 30 character could enter lvl 70 quest ( with help ofc).

Yes you can. You can start any quest you are on at any time. I’ve been doing my personal story on my alt without lvling. Solo even. I’m on a level 10 quest when i am only lvl 3… Maybe 4. If you can get to the marker you can start it. I even helped a guildy do a lvl 30 when he was lvl12.

as the previous posters have said, you’re prob best of fast track to 80 and then exotic gearing yourself and it gets a little easier to go through it, I did it with my elementalist… was dying left/right and centre in these missions without it and it was taking too long for my liking…

the commanders skin is the barbaric skin, you can craft it! =)

yes the commando armor that is one of the option rewards is lvl 70-80 crafted Barbaric armor skin

No, this is the commando armor. The link is from PVP, but for PVE, the only way to get it is through personal story, I believe.

It seems that this set is available only for medium-armor class.
