Hi all,
I don’t know if this is a bug, but I can’t get to the quest Romke’s final voyage. You have to travel to an asura gate which is located at the Vigil keep in Gendarran fields. I think this gate is behind a door which is guarded by a Vigil guard which says it is under construction and wont let me in. If I click on the door it says its closely guarded. Is this a bug or is there anything else I need to do to reach this quest?

Romke’s Final Voyage takes place in Desmina’s Hallows (Cursed Shore) in Orr.

The reason the quest marker is doing that, is it automatically shows you the closest route – but it doesn’t take into account whether the Asura gates involved in the closest route are actually accessible to your character, so it sometimes directs you to a route you can’t take.

You don’t need to use the gate, though. It just shaves off some distance. If you can get to Orr (or even just Fort Trinity,) you’ll be able to walk to the instance area and the quest marker should start pointing correctly.

The gates at the orders all take you to fort trinity. The thing is you can only access them from fort trinity back to the order, the other way round is inaccessible.
Romke’s final voyage takes place on Orr (cursed shore if I am not mistaken).

Did you try talking to the actual gate guard? Clicking on the door doesn’t do anything. Also, I think you have to use the gate of your order. I tried using the vigil gate once on a whispers character and they didn’t seem to know me

Same here. I’m in the Order of Whispers. (Am I allowed to tell?). Quest marker is there, but the guard says the gate is under construction.

Yeah, probably just ignorance of the Pact
Vigil Keep shows up as closer than the other portals, so it automatically says to go there.
