Guild Wars 2

Herboza the Wretched isn’t spawning. Anyone else seeing this? See attached screenshot (had to guess on mob location however).

Yes, I am having this problem too. She is nowhere to be found!

I am a bit annoyed as my mesmer character had her Personal story skipped 20+ lvls forwards to lvl 48, so i held off continuing the story with her so that i wouldn’t miss anything.

Now I have this Shards of Orr bug with my Ele, and I can’t continue again! Sadly this is becoming less like fun and more like hard work to get through to the end of any story line!

also I only get 1/4 rewards from dungeons (even if its 1st of the day) and I hope I will get some refunds… since dungeons are annoying enought as they are…

I found another forum post about this and someone suggested that you have to be standing in the circle drawn on the mini map when you defeat the last group in order for Herboza to spawn. This isn’t easy if you character is squishy, plus they all come running at you when you approach. Somehow I managed this with my Ele, and indeed she did spawn! Perhaps it was lucky, or perhaps where you stand when you defeat the last group is important.

I would just like to reaffirm now that she definitely did not spawn the first time. I checked very well and she wasn’t there! I did get the cutscene, but no Herboza (or perhaps Herzog :p)

I tried this the other day on my Human Engineer. I had the same problem. I left the instance and started it over again with no problem though.

I just tried and she did not spawn, had the cut scene.

Will do a bit of testing to see if the point by Ceroxylon is the case.

1st run where I paid attention to it, was not in circle cut scene played but no spawn of her, the original run was similar to this.

2nd controlled run: Quickly rushed past the constantly spawning waves at the camp and went and got group 1 triggered. Allowed both group 2 and 3 to run to me as in previous runs.
Cutscene started to play, and I instantly skipped it (Watched it the first 2 times) the boss spawned, and walked down to be killed.

So to sum up, the difference between the 2 controlled runs:
1. In the second run I didn’t spend any time killing the endless wave at the start, just walked to the 2 stationary brutes.
2. After swarm 3, as the cut scene started playing I skipped it as quickly as I was able to.

As this finished the story mission for me, no further test can be made.
So from the few test runs I did it indicates that there is a issue with the cut scene.

I killed the third mob, did not get the cutscene, and she did not spawn. Ran all over the map for 30 minutes before giving up.

Have the same problem…

I’m having a problem too. This is the second time I’ve tried running this. I logged out of the game, the instance reset and had no luck a second time. Is there some kind of workaround?
