Should I complete it? or should I wait until actual decent loot is given.

Well… do you care how the story ends?

I’m not saying that in a sarcastic way. I think that’s actually the best way to evaluate whether to finish or not.

If you’re not interested in the story itself and would rather focus on loot, there are other things you could do with the same investment of time that would be more lucrative.

If you actually are interested in the story, it’s worth doing. To me, the rewards seem pretty on par with the challenge, and it’s fun to see a resolution to the plot.

It just depends what you’re looking for really.

There’s no guarantee the loot table will ever be changed – honestly I think it’s unlikely, because it would be pushing the line of over rewarding in my opinion. The main benefit of doing the story is seeing the story, and the loot is secondary.

Well is pretty much an exotic piece of gear, but you can also buy the same level of exotic for a measly 3g at most in the Trade. Like someone else said, it’s really just gonna boil down to if you care about the story or not.

It comes down to if you want to finish the current story now or not.

Later Anet may start releasing content that will require you to progress in the story in order to reach later in the future like they did with GW1 but for now it up to what you want to do.

A certain amount of the End Story Weapon skins are nice though and are worth Transmuting into Exotics if you want the look.

The Pact weapons Skins are Exotic level looks but sadly they’re rare type weapons but by now you should of obtained 5 free Fine Transmutation stone by now from the Black Lion Chest. If not well you can always buy them using Gold.
