I think the story missions could do with indicating what level of character they are aimed at.
I know the game automatically reduces your level, but it doesn’t remove kit, or account for your individual experience.

Going through some of the Norn missions is a bit too easy, but I think it’s more cause I’m 5-8 levels higher than they were built for.

In the upper right corner you will see the misison and what level it is intended for. There is a number right next to it for that.
