Is there any way yet, to switch orders? I for instance picked vigil with a few clicks assuming they were durmand priory. Had no chance but to accept the reward so now I’m stuck with vigil. I found some data from a press release long time ago but it doesn’t clarify a lot :P

Nope. You’re stuck forever. Short of picking a different order on an alt or deleting your current character to recreate it up until the Order decision, you’re stuck with your current one.

There is no way to switch orders. annoying, but its for a reason. Your personal story ties very deeply to which Order you chose, so they dont want you switching because choices as far as 30 levels back can make a difference.

This is just one of the 5 dialogues related to the moment you choose. It indeed does go quick if you skip cinematics or don’t read. But I think that Eir makes it perfectly clear (as does Zoja, Logan, Rytlock and Caithe) that this is a permanent decission.

Also the dialogue when you make the pick is very clear asking for verification if thats whatyou want and telling you cant go back.

Let’s hope they add future content for the order you are in. I’d like to see some more order specific story arcs and quest lines. IE: Orders Spy missions, Vigil Smash and Grabs, Priory exploration/dig sites. Otherwise there is not much point other than the armor/weapon skins that are restricted to all other orders.

Sorry I like the fact that you can’t switch orders it makes you take the decision more seriously. Some restrictions are good.
