It’s not secret that everyone dissapointed with the Zhaitan fight after 80 level of build up in the story.
I expect Epic battle one on one, instead i was thrown away to the dungeon and forced to find party.

My main complain is that it’s not ‘my story’ anymore but more of ‘my party leader story’ since his character do the talking. It’s breaking the immersion of my character and giving me an anticlimatic feel to it.

I finish GW1 in solo and when i kill final boss by myself i feel proud and rewarded because i use everything i got from the long journey and use it. But when i ‘forced’ to the dungeon and kill the boss i don’t feel very rewarded (in story term). It’s like i am partying with Kormir and she kill steal my final boss…again..

In other word the dungeon is fine if separated from personal story, but when i forced to it’s hardly ‘my story’ anymore…

I completely agree with you. I was annoyed when I found out I’d have to do the last mission with 4 other people.

Agreed, as evidenced by the fact I haven’t done that part of my story yet.

After soloing the rest of my story (or else, how is it personal?), which had a couple quite tedious parts where I wiped a dozen times, but I could still make progress by running ahead and being able to kill 1 mob before I wiped again. Against the corruption was usually glitched for me, but the 3rd time trough, after nearly vanguishing the locale, my allies became unstuck and I finished the events out of order.
I did try to solo the dungeon: but I’m guessing you physically need two people to pass the first door.

Interestingly, I had long ago decided I would not play dungeons until they were fixed, by which I generally mean more user friendly. Based on AC, I though the rewards were negligible compared to the difficulty. [And now, they surprised me with establishing whatever “cap” on dungeon rewards]. Also, more of a concern that difficulty is time spent, which was often more than 30 minutes to get into the dungeon amidst my guildies cries of “we have to wait for it to reset”, “great, another one that’s not level 35”, “I’m in overflow, are you in overflow?”

Allegedly, most party connection problems have been fixed, but sure enough, on my second half hour wait to get a pug to end my story, I finally see a group trying, and performing the same rigmarole: “I say we let the new guy go first”; “It didn’t reset”; “Just wait for everyone to get back here”. [N.B.: The past couple days I’ve been playing during the dead time around 5 am; I know I’ll have better luck at prime-time or with my guildies.]

It would be easy to facetiously agree that everyone does have the same personal story: it all ends with “it’s too hard to get in the dungeon.” But disregarding that, I disagree in principle. I wanted my personal story to be mine. There’s very nearly a zero percent change that I’ll be with people that haven’t already done it. They’re going to spoil it for me.

was annoyed when I found out I would need a party to do the last part. It was over two hours before I had a capable party to do it with.
