The epic final battle was... underwhelming
Sadly, that’s the downfall of the fight in the end. While the music and everything else makes it feel epic, considering all we had to fight just to reach this thing just makes him seem like a pushover.
To be fair, most of the Personal Story upon getting into Orr involves taking out his stronger minions and cutting of access to magic to feed upon, as well as utilizing weapons meant to be effective against dragon minions, or moreso against the Risen. We went into Arah when he was supposedly at his weakest, but still..you’d think Zhaitan would’ve put up more of a fight.
Hopefully after the update to Tequatl, they will start working on improving this battle. What I would really like to see changed is:
-Allow the player to fire the big laser, instead of npc’s. I hate Destiny’s Edge constantly stealing my spotlight.
-Make the cutscenes where Zhaitan attacks the ship, in-game. Don’t switch to a cutscene for this. Just do it in real time.
-Make the snakes that Zhaitan summons more dangerous.
-Zhaitan attacks the deck of the airship with a breath weapon when he flies over, that you must dodge.
-In between shooting Zhaitan, Zhaitan flies off to assault the ship. Maybe even land on top of the deck.
-Fix to all the canons, allowing all of them to target Zhaitan.
-Zhaitan attacks from multiple sides, thus making all canons useful.
-Add a fix that prevents players from falling through the airship.
-Make the fight take place on multiple levels of the ship. Not just on the main deck.
