so after going through 20-30min of waiting for npcs to walk and killing mobs that took awhile, i destroyed the third tower but the objective is bugged AGAIN. This is the second time in my story line as a thief/human that my quest is bugged. Anyone know whats the issues? ive looked around but there are no fixes or answers to why its bugging….

Same happend for me, i have now doen this Personal story 4 times, 3 times before a-net released the update on this personal story, and now 4th time after the update, same bug.

I cant describe how frustrating it is to do the same mission over and over just to get to the end and being stuck

Yeah there’s another thread going on this with dev responses. Looks like the soonest we’ll see a fix to this is Sept 24, IF they can reproduce the bug. I’d love to not be able to reproduce the bug myself.

Yes it’s bugged but there is a work around so that you can finish and continue until they get it fixed. Here is the link to the other thread on it along with the work around:

Hello, same bug here.

It’s just after you destroyed the third tower, a new objective appears “Clean the beach of undead.”, so I killed them and then nothing happens. The objective if validated( In grey) but there is no new objective or cut scene to end the mission.

Jeffrey, from what I have read and what happened to me personally, it seems if Tonn blows up the 3rd tower before you have all the Risen that are currently present dead, then it bugs out with ‘Clear the Beach’, which is triggered when the 3rd tower goes down and as a result spawns the last 3 mobs.

I know I wasn’t aware of the bug on my first time threw and got close to the tower with Tonn following me so I could pull the remaining Risen. He proceeded to blow it up while I was fighting, spawning the final 3 and then I guess he decided he was done and just stood there. I did submit a Bug report with screenshot included when it happened showing the quest info and such.

My personal story is an Asura with the Order of Whispers.

Just happened to me as well. the Asura blew up the last tower and then nothing, he just stands there. Objective Clear the beach of undead is greyed.

Bugged out for me as well just then for the second time through >:(

I think Kesarai’s point might be true, because both times I’ve done it Tonn has blown the third tower before I killed the Veteran Preserver.

As a side note, this quest sucks. The NPC pathing is terrible and you spend forever just willing them to come to the next objective. I’m sure a lot of people wouldn’t mind if you just took the mission out of the game entirely (hint hint)

Bugged for me as well. After the “‘clear beach of undead” part. Objective is completed and the story doesn’t advance.

What’s the point of asking what’s wrong with it since 5 days later is still in the same state? Aren’t you people receiving the bug reports?

Bugged here as well. The clear beach of undead objective is completed. Please do something about it. I want to continue my story.

Same here, very annoying. I cleared the beach then the next objective didn’t fire. The bomb guy was stood still whilst the others would follow me.

What exactly is your current objective? It says above “i destroyed the third tower”, did the objective complete? Did the tower blow up? Where is it getting stuck?

I get stuck when I get ‘Clear the beach of undead’. I cleared the beach, got a check mark next to the objective, and Demolitionist Tonn just stands there. No cutscene, no new objective, nothing.
