Guild Wars 2

I just ‘tried’ to play the tree dream part. Tried, because I had no other choice but to keep running. The enemies spawned at insane rates, kept following me EVERYWHERE, and I couldn’t stop moving to attack anything because I got swarmed and beaten.

How on earth are you supposed to beat those things? As an elementalist, I get shredded before I can even try something and Treebeard just stands around doing nothing.

Well, apparently you can actually see the enemies lying on the ground. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t follow you…even when I died and respawned at the checkpoint, the enemies travelled with me.

Like having to play through the Sylvari bit wasn’t bad enough…

Can you please provide the quest name and your current objective? I need to know exactly where you are to try and look at the issue. Thanks!

It is the part of the personal storyline (at around level 50 or so) that takes place in the Pale Tree dream. After the first dialogue in the dream, when they start spawning, I aggroed them and they kept following me even after death and respawn.
