So if I played Arah Stroymode before “Victory or Death” I really have to repeat Storymode?

Wish I had known this before I wasted 4 incredibly unenjoyable hours of my leisure time last night. This surely has to be a bug, there is nothing else in the game that punishes you like this for doing things in a slightly different order.
