Why I feel the jungle dragon should be next
I remember seeing screens where the Jungle Dragon was rendered on one of the servers inside Caledon Forest.
It was a glitch, and the dragon was untargettable ans stationary, but the sheer fact it was rendered inside the map has a lot of significance to it.
We can speculate ANET actually intended the dragon to appear at some point in that map (perhaps instead of Jungle Wurm.)

Part of the sylvari tutorial dragon boss?
Sylvari tutorial dragon boss is in a separate instance entirely. It should not be appearing in Caledon Forest.

It actually happens in (an instanced) Caledon Forest. Same location as the task where you’re given an Oakheart transformation.
The same thing happens in Queensdale – occasionally there’s a glitch where the human final ‘boss’ can be seen from a distance.
What those screenshots are of is the Sylvari tutorial dragon indeed, I’ve seen it myself in Caledon.
For the toast!
You’re making a few mistakes in your knowledge of the lore, primarily by calling Sylvari ‘minions’. They are the furthest from that if the pale tree being a champion is true, because they are fully capable of free thought, expression, and movement; unlike all other minions.
Secondly, its EXTREMELY unlikely that Mordremoth will be the next elder dragon, because it is very unlike ANET to make us fight something they just introduced with no story or anything.
Its actually very likely that this dragon will be the LAST one we fight because it will open zones near the isle of janthir and move us nicely into a story fighting against the Mursaat!

But do they really? Everything they are is shaped by the dream, which is in turn shaped by the Ventari tablet. Those that have fallen into Nightmare have only done so because they’ve experienced enough torment to corrupt their view of the dream.
And then there is the Wyld Hunt, which is literally the dream telling the Sylvari what their goal in life is.
I suggest looking at the thread “On the sixth Elder dragon and it’s corruption.”

1) I would like to see more of the Maguuma Jungle as well.
2) Foalain’s not as much of a problem right now, the story instance showing the possible bad future had Destiny’s Edge still fighting amongst each other. With them on better terms now, Caithe is not likely as susceptible to Faolain’s manipulation. Still, another conflict with the Nightmare Court would be interesting, as they seem to be going everywhere the other Sylvari are going (Sparkfly Fen, Mount Malestrom, Brisban Wildlands…surprised they’re not in Orr.)

You guys do realise that the Sylvari is a playable race, right? They wouldn’t make an entirely corrupted playable race.
If the Pale tree has anything to do with dragons.. the Pale tree is the Sylvari capital! We would have to destroy a capital city of a playable race or what?

Umm, no. Glint already set a precedent for dragon champions turning against the Elder Dragon they are supposed to serve. The Pale Tree, assuming she is a champion, is similarly harmless to the other major races of Tyria.
What we don’t have a precedent for is the nature of minions controlled by a converted champion. Glint did not have any dedicated minions in Guild Wars 1 – the closest thing to servants she had were the Forgotten, which were not creations of her or Kralkatorrik – instead being one of the five races to have fought against the dragons in their last rise. In fact, the Forgotten were responsible for freeing Glint in the first place.
Because we don’t have a precedent for what the minions of a converted champion would be like, it’s impossible to judge whether the Sylvari’s mental natures support or contradict the theory of them being minions without Word of God to confirm or deny the theory as canon.
It’s entirely possible the Jungle dragon has no minions, but simply corrupts the dreams of individuals.
Think about it..
Kralkatorik= Controls body
Jormag= Controls mind
Primordus= Controls life and death (he just outright destroyers)
Zhaitan= Controls undeath
So…
Mordremoth= Controls dreams.

Jormag controls mind?
Primordus controls life and death?
Good to know.

I would actually say that Kralkatorik is more mind controlling than Jormag.
Jormag gets his minions with promise of power, not mind control.

Mind control is something that is manintaned by a master over a given person, who regainshis freedom after the master cancels it.
Mind control oppresses the target’s mind for a time.
To transform someone into a minion is something different. To erase someone’s personality forever and make him a mindless, twisted servant like the dragons do isn’t completely mind-controlling. They won’t be te same after their master dies, just wondering minions without a master.
Transformation/corruption, like what the dragons do, erases the person.

There are certainly indirect hints about this, indirect as in through Subject’s Alpha annoying little attack. And we know more about Mordremoth than the mysterious water dragon. However, I think ANET would release some publicity/information in terms of a novel before they introduce the new threat / new expansion. And the next book in line isn’t very jungly, but more water-themed (and apparently about Zhaitan) – Sea of Sorrows.

That’s a stretch to say the least.
