Hi,
Well, I guess some small spoiler alert is needed and don’t read any further if you’re not level 20 yet.
Anyway, all races get the same sort of story at level 20. I won’t go into details.
I was expecting different races to have totally different stories. I guess that was too much to ask. I guess SWTOR really still is the king of story lines now.
Cheers.

You’re not the only one. I really enjoyed those initial story arcs because they allowed for a sense of cultural immersion and identity. Once they’re over, everyone turns into the same generic featureless hero-blob and even your own mother won’t recognize you anymore. Literally. It’s by far my biggest disappointment with this game.

I personally still enjoy the order missions…
However I do agree it was kind of a let down to see all my characters would follow the same story more or less.
Then again I understand, because voice acting most likely isn’t something cheap, not to mention it costs loads of time.
I hope in future expansions we get more personal story missions that will involve your own culture/area/order more.
yea very disapointing
They are not the same. They deal with the Orders past level 20 because the story calls for your character to join an order. The level 21-30 order story lines are definitely not the same for the different races. If they stayed as diverse past level 20 that they were before 20, they would have had to say at some point, “by the way, join one of these 3 groups you know so little about.”
I agree with this. I remember taking my second character (not even the same species) through and getting to the artillery part… realising it was going to end exactly the same way, and hating it.
I’d like to have a rebel who refuses to join any order. After all, later on you are supposed to be unswayed or unbiased, yet you are a member of a powerful order with it’s own goals and agenda.
I even thought last night how cool it would be to have a character join the separatists…
I’m more disappointed in the fact that the choices I make during earlier parts of the story have no impact on later events, which basically makes them meaningless. I know this is not a single player RPG, but since we get to choose what to do every now and then it would have been nice if that actually mattered. If this would have an effect on later story parts then the story would feel less generic with different characters.
