No matter who I talk to, you would expect them to know who I am. See attached image for an example. In that example, I’m talking with an Asura who should know who I am, yet I get no mention.

To be blunt. This is lame. I’m just some cannon fodder, nobody. Just another regular shmuck, that just happens to be the Commander, 2nd in charge, yet nobody knows who I am. Even the Order of Whispers guys can barely remember who I am.

I’m guessing it was too hard to figure out how to parse character names. Some have 1 name. Some have a whole sentence. It did feel awkward having my supposed best friend act like he doesn’t know my name yet.

While I agree with you, and to top it off there are some NPCs who act like you’re BFFs even though you’ve never met them, the fact that you’re Savant wouldn’t necessarily travel far from Rata Sum, and the Order of Whispers is a secret organization.
