ok i have completed the story and i have been to ever place on the map and got all the hearts,waypoints,skills,vistas,and points of interest so how am i still missing 6 way points im getting really aggrovanted at this and i have spent one gold going around the map to all the places i have been just to see that everything is done so why and how am i still missing 6 way points someone please help me??

wvw maps already have waypoints in them i believe cause when i go i see that the waypoints are already there would it be in pvp??

can anyone help me please anyone i can really use the help like please

This probably won’t be helpful because I’m assuming you’ve already thought of it, but just to throw ideas out there, have you made sure to check all three levels on your map? Like, is it possible that you may be standing in the right map zone, but on the wrong level?

I just finished BTDT on my main and a few things that might be helpful:

I’d make sure you’ve gotten all wp’s in all borderlands and eternal battlegrounds (even though the borderlands are essentially the same map, they are separate completions). If all of those are good, I’d look at your explorer achievements. The first 4 or 5 are map discovery; though they don’t directly correlate to the completion, if you’re missing more areas in one region, that would be a good place to start.

Despite having 100% completion though, my ranger’s got 3 missing regions in the shiverpeaks so it’s just a guide. I’d also avoid wp travel while doing it (aside from spending a lot of money on nothing, you are likely moving to quickly to see what you’re missing.

Also if you said waypoint and meant poi, there are a lot of options for what it could be (including all the instances inside cities and chantry of secrets).

If all else fails, look up each region’s complete map and compare.

edit: after reading your response to wvw closer, i’d say it’s probably there. the wvw maps count towards btdt. go to each individual map and check (though i’m surprised all you’re missing is the wps).

Is there anything other than waypoints missing? Are all vistas/POIs are registered? What about skill points/hearts?

Each borderlands map has 6 waypoints (if I remember correctly), but I think you need to travel to the map to get all 6 immediately unlocked. However, if you’ve got the skill points from all 3 borderlands you would have done that already.

Likewise, the other place I’d suggest rechecking would be the racial cities. They don’t have skill points/hearts, but do have POIs/vistas/waypoints. They’re also easy to miss/forget getting everything since they’re not “somewhere you go to fight”…and checking them is free using the Asura gates to/from Lion’s Arch to visit them.
