Not that i mind twist on a story but i am dissapointed with fact that the order instructors of our race that introduce us to orders and their ways go puff after you sign up for good with your order and don’t seem to show up more.

As an asura i gotta say that all 3 asura representatives looked great and had quite the amount of charisma to them and it’s a real shame they’re there for so short. Seriously. Those characters deserve much more spotlight after the potential shown.
I’d love to do more conversations with cute order of whispers spy, hear witty and grumpy lines from durmand priory instructor, or good old door kicking with vigil commander. It feels more personal to me when as asure i get asurian instructor and it’s the guy i got to know and like a bit (or a gal;).

Maybe it’s no loss for other racial story lines but asura sure got instructors i’d love to see around and talk with more.

As someone who vastly prefers the initial cultural stories over the boring generic mess that follows them, I agree. I like Forgal of the Vigil well enough, mind, but more cultural ties and content just makes for much better immersion and replay value. Plus there are way too many throwaway NPCs, which is bad for the story. You can’t really get close to anyone because everyone vanishes or dies on you.

The asura whispers rep is actually one of the lucky ones that returns late game. So does the sylvari vigl rep. But yeah, I love Forgal to death, but it would be cool to see the initial order reps at least once after level 30. Even though they’re stationed more for their race than their order, it would still be nice to see them doing something when say Claw Island is going on, and all hands are on deck

I do wish you’d see the various order recruiters running about. I knew nothing about the Vigil before I joined, and went solely on the quest dialogue. The distinct lack of humans in the Order got to the point of even feeling a bit freaky, playing a human character.
