Maybe the required guild commendations for an ascended accessory could be lowered to match how long it would take to get one using laurels? Cause in a month of doing dailies you could get about 40 laurels(adding in laurels from monthly reward), enough to purchase an ascended earring though we’ll need 50 ectos too. It just seems right for both currencies to be matched up in terms of how long itll take to obtain an ascended accessory, even though if were talking about a month it’d only be 8 commendations but i dont think anet would go so far as to lower it by 4 commendations, so lowering it down by 2 would be nice

It is actually quicker through guild missions as you will be able to get 10 per week once your guild has all of the guild missions unlocked. its just at this early stage chances are the most a guild has unlocked is 2 which means you could get 4 per week. I think by next week it would be possible to have 3 unlocked if you wanted to drop large amount of influence and you unlocked correctly.

Be glad your Guild’s large enough for that option. Really screws over Guild-less or small Guild people, though. And as for the ecto cost, what the kitten? Then you need what -another 50- to imbue the fraggers?

Laurel price is pretty high, they based the laurel price on how long it would take to get one doing only 1 guild mission a week and then made it equivalent if only doing dailies for the same amount of time. Guild commendations are by all means easier to get, all you have to do is participate in the killing of 1 mob and you’re done for the week, and that is the equivalent of doing 7 dailies quests. Anyways, I’m very happy with the 12 commendation price, I won’t be wasting laurels on accessories.
