Along with Queen Jenna mini Bday gifts should also give a MiniPack set 1 after they get retired from the Gem store. 2nd year Bday gifts should give a MiniPack set2 etc.

If you keep adding limited edition collectables and retiring them making them hard to find sooner of later collectors will get tired and realise that collecting stuff in GW2 is a losing battle thats not worth fighting for resulting in the loss of revenue in the long run.

If you want to add rare and hard to get items in the game the best way in my opinion to do that is to add them as rare drops from specific content thus giving extra reasons for players to spend time in areas of the game that need it most. The best example of that was the Polar Bear Mini from GW1.

i would actually like to see the queen removed and have the chance present box like GW1, it might give ppl a mini they would not like but it’s at least a chance box instead of a mini no one wants. (at least, no one even considers using it)

Yeah, before long I’ll have 8 Queen Jennahs and she refuses to swim with me, argh! I really loved the GW1 birthday minis since you had a chance for some really neat minis. My white rabbit was one I was immensely proud of. Perhaps a Birthday Mini Box (one mini pet inside) would be good? Like the MiniPack Sets 1 & 2, it would have its own set of minis that can only be obtained by birthday presents, but also make them trade-able for people who end up with duplicates so they can sell and complete their collection in other ways.

Since the game is now over a year old and numerous people have had their first birthday, or multiples if they made a bunch at launch, then it’s not realistic to ask for this for the first year birthday. Second year maybe but not first year. That’s already over with for too many people.
