I would like for them to make the molten pickaxe, consortium scythe, and chop-it-all axe account bound. At least rerelease them for 1000 gems each like they did for the second edition tools. Reason why i bring this up is because i felt betrayed that when i bought the Bone Pickaxe and Jack-in-the-box , that were soulbound at first,i expected a soulbound similarly themed logging axe next. But instead they release the Dream Logging Axe as account bound, and rerelease the bone pickaxe and jack in the box for 1000gems (800 originally) but account bound. So i just wasted 1600 gems for soulbound tools, where i couldve gotten account bound ones for just 400 more. And ofcourse you had to get 2 axes, 1 to fill the space for the one that had the soulbound tools, and a full account bound set. So i felt ripped off. Or make the the soulbound tools account bound to be fair. TBH i just want to give the 1st edition “Techie” tools to my engineer character,lol. Seems fair since u can give the second edition ones to any character any time you please.

Here’s what you do. I also wasted because it wasn’t spelled out enough for me. I bought a Dreamaxe when I already had a chop it all. Go to a Black Lion weapon merchant, the same one where you turn in tickets to get whatever living story weapon is currently live. they are above the TP guys in Lion’s Arch. You can trade your soulbound version and turn it into an account bound version. Just unequip them and find the proper tab, and boom, those are account bound. Then open a ticket advising you have extra infinite tools and they’ll tell you what to do. They’ll tell you to delete any extra tools for which you would like a gem refund, and once they see it is deleted gems will be sent to your account in game. Do NOT delete before you start the ticket process and they contact you, just to be sure. I got a refund on a extra molten pick I had and the chop it all I had prior to buying the Dream cleaver. Also the skin stays the same, so if you convert a chop it all, it doesn’t become a dream cleaver, it stays an account bound chop it all.

Ah. Thank you very much Woljnir. I did not know about the npc being able to do that. And thanks for the advice on what i should do with the other tools. I’ll get to work on that.
