Since I am posting suggestions anyway. Make th first phase life bar blue or something, than you would actually know that this crab has something strange going on.

The first time I fought these thing I died because I wanted to loot the crab and the second phase spawned directly above. Or at least write something lik has 2 life bars under the name of the crab.

Personally I think they need to just get rid of the 2nd life bar entirely. The event is over…you won’t have 4-5 people backing you up anymore. Fighting these things is NOT fun in any stretch of the imagination.

In all seriousness though, these monsters give dismal loot, dismal exp and are such a waste of time I won’t even touch them.

They single handedly ruin that new, pretty island Anet released and to that extent I support Runir’s suggestion. Remove the 2nd HP bar and make them drop better loot.
