Before you all flame me and call me a nub by saying “DEEZ CLAZSEZ CAN’T SWAP WEAP SETZ CUZ DEY HAZ LUTZ OV SKILLZS!11!11!!!” let me start off by saying I’m aware of this and I know ANet don’t want to give these two classes the option of weapon switching.

What I’m proposing is having an out of combat weapon switch option. By this, I mean allow the classes to equip two weapon sets, but only allow them to change weapons when they’re out of combat. That way, they wouldn’t have to stand around, seemingly AFK trying to find their 2nd uber dagger or that amazing staff amongst the rubbish blues and greens they have. Instead, they could equip the 2nd weapon set and then inbetween fights, they press the ` key and switch to the 2nd weapon set.

Thoughts?

This is why people organize their bags, putting the stuff they want out of the rubbish as far on the bottom as they can. Takes all of 2 seconds to swap then.

That said, a purely out of combat weapon switch I would not be opposed to if only so that it is extra weapons not taking up bag space that we actually use.

Purely out of combat, I’m ok with that, and support it.
