As it stands now, any condition or debuff placed upon you during combat, that persist after combat, KEEP you in combat. Whether it’s a 5 second, 1 minute or 7 minute condition, you remain in a state of combat even if you are no longer fighting anything. Even if you defeat whatever enemy placed the condition/debuff on you, you will remain in combat as long as that condition is still ticking down.
This is plainly apparent when fighting Tequatl. Once you engage him and subsequently defeat him, his weakness condition/debuff remains after, ticking down and keeping you in combat. After killing him today I stood around for 5 minutes doing nothing, waiting for the debuff to end so I could use a waypoint and leave.
I suggest that after all combat has ended, even if you have a condition/debuff still remaining and ticking down that you actually drop out of combat so you can do out of combat things. Whether that’s teleporting, switching weapons, or even switching out ability so you can use an ability that removes conditions.
As it stands now, conditions and debuffs can keep you in a combat state well after combat has actually ended which seems a bit odd since I am not actually fighting anyone. Mind you I am not suggesting any changes to the actual conditions themselves or what they do. I am only suggesting/asking that even if you have one of these conditions on you that persists AFTER actual combat has ended that it does not KEEP you in a combat state.
