A Quest System
Yeah I think a Skyrim quest approach would be cool, and would do well in the game.
Well I’d personally want ANet to focus more on having more dynamic events and having those dynamic events have more of a impact on the world itself (ideally for more than just a few minutes until the next dynamic event starts).
But I guess they could implement a system like this, it would (if done correctly) be a bit more dynamic then the current dynamic system.
Yeah, even if Dynamic events would impact the world more would be nice, but I do still think adding quests is a good idea.
There are already NPCs that approach you, yelling for your help to do something for them. They want to point you to an area and you probably usually ignore them
I definitely just want more dynamic events over some alternate system being added.
Example:
In Queensdale, there’s an apple orchid where there’s an occasional event where you help pick apples, and occasionally a giant spider event.
There should also be an event where the spiders and bats start attacking the farmers, and you have to protect/save them. If the event is failed, a new event is set where you revive them and help them clean up the place.

There are many other even less event-rich areas that could use additional events like these. They feel like 1-trick-pony type places with little depth at all.
Example:
The Priory camp beside Ascalonian Catacombs. They’re always being attacked by the same pattern of harpies.
Why not have them be attacked by a champ Harpy? Or have the Priory spot a special looking Harpy and chase after it for research purposes?
Because ANet didn’t have the budget/time to do so.
Thus, I do not want a new quest system. I want an expansion / enrichment of the current system.
