Guild Wars 2

As title implies, a NPC that gives buffs for a fee, and Cash-Shop exclusive. Something like, 30 minute swiftness for 5 gold, 30 minute with 10 stacks of might for 10 gold, etc. And yes, I really meant to add such high prices, to add this as a goldsink and an alternative “for those who can”.

I can presume a few commentaries saying this Is “Pay2win” methods to the game, but… here goes nothing.

There used to be buff vendors. There still are—they sell food. Slightly different than the implementation you described, but in appearance only. The effects are still pretty much the same.
