A bug gave me an idea for WvW.
Seems like another game within the game type of feature.
I am not against it.
I just do not think the WvW feature needs to have more events happening.
We have these events already in the BL corners which only get finished when the players are bored or by guilds looking for mass reward and xp.
We have bosses and small events in Eternal that are completed quite often but also considered to be a distraction from more important objectives.
If the BL maps were purged of all the water and developed into an outpost kind of feature I could see this working out.
Otherwise I think Anet should just create a map for GvG or an equal sided group conflict map for players to get this done.
As it stands the fight clubs are already becoming a focus for many players. It is not something that I enjoy, but I don’t begrudge those that do as long as it does not interfere with the intended game play of the zone.
I am just not confident that more objectives in WvW are going to solve the problem.

idk I was thinking 3 open field areas that are kinda like “king of the hill” objectives. in that open field it is void of siege. the only way to cap the area is to click a flag, the flag has a cap durration that the enemy servers must interrupt to keep you from taking the objective. server holding he objective gets some sort of benefit for having it, increased for having 2 and increased again for having 3. ( additional pt tick or yaks move faster)

-Stand on these three circles spread across the map to be able to open the gate leading to Hill’s/Bay/Garri. etc..
-Here is an Orb, Carry it to a wall, trough a gauntlet, to let it explode, but your hp and speed is halved and you cant be buffed, immagine 40 people suiciding trying to carry it to a wall as a last resort ^^
-Here is a Siege turtle spawn in the middle lake guide it to any gate to take it down.
-Stand on this circle to donate 200 supply to the depot
-Or guide a worker from citadel to a Keep if he reaches the keep the keep finishes the active upgrade.
etc etc..
So many ways to make WvW interesting, guess I’ll move myself to the suggestions part of the forum now ^^
