1) Commanders get spam blocked: When I WvW with my guild, our commander frequently has to ask our players to relay messages to the PuGs because he keeps getting blocked out by the spam filter. I would recommend making the commander tag remove (or significantly reduce) restrictions on chat spamming in WvW. Abusers can easily be reported by the community.

2) Commanders get culled: It’s REALLY hard to follow an invisible commander. Commanders should be the highest priority loads, even above enemies.

along the lines of having a commander more easily seen in chat or so, how about make their name the same shade of blue as their icon when it is activated. for /say /map /team chat? so that it stands out just a little more for the Pug’s and it might be useful to have someone who doesnt know what they are doing to have a visual example oh this guy’s name is blue. something’s special about him . im gonna look at what he has to say kind of deal.

Also the COMPLETE lack of support for non-commander grouping systems for multiple groups to coordinate together. Not all players or guilds running 2-4 groups want the commander pin up. They are forced to run using a 3rd party Voip with no in-game visual coordination or support.

If you want to reduce zergs, how about giving an option. It’s either 5 man groups or join a zerg if you want to use any in game system to coordinate.
