There are a few things i’ve been thinking about would be nice if implemented. I’m not sure how hard it would be to implement these things and i understand there are differing opinions as well as the situation of money.
Hair styles – I think instead of a gem shop item it would be better to have a barber shop or salon. I understand there is the money factor but the total makeover kit is fine in my opinion since it’s not something that could be put into the game without plastic surgery or something, and adding more faces with a few only available in that would mostly solve the money loss. Another reason i think this is a good idea is that i think a few more interesting things in cities would be nice. They could use some more attractions.
Weapons and armor – Most weapons and armor look the same and i think it would be nice to have a few different skins , not just the ones in the item shops or the ones you get from achievements. I think individual armors and weapons should at least look a little bit different. Most look the same and it is very much a downer when i’m getting the same weapon with different stats every level. I understand working for cool weapons and armor but even so i still don’t think there are enough. I’d like to feel unique wearing my armor and weapons, not just the same as the other people who got the same rare gear that i did after working so hard for it. It makes leveling even funner when you can see your gear improving even by a little, not just after you’ve leveled up 15 times, only to see the same armor on everyone else your level. And perhaps adding hair under helmets would be nice too. But this is just a thought.
Animal faces – I’ not sure if i’m the only one who has noticed this but some of the animals look like they may have down syndrome. It’s not exactly a huge deal and they are unique in how they look, but maybe a few with different faces would be nice to add to variety. They all have the same faces no matter what animal they are, and i’m not saying remodel them entirely, just redo the faces on some of them maybe? I’m not trying to offend the art team for that style of face, however it’s a little strange, as they don’t really look like cats. And the wolves don’t really have the nicest faces either, they look to be in pain. That’s really the only complaint i have with that, and it’s no pressing matter.
Minis – They are very slow, it’s very annoying to have it running behind you so far away. It would be nice if they ran the same speed as you and closer.
Player Housing – I think player housing could use quite a few improvements. I think they should be customizable. It would be really nice if you could decorate and then have a party with my guildies, and have special events spawn because you have those seasonal items up. Maybe you could put minis in a cage and show them off or have them running around in your instance. And maybe doing that will cause the larger versions of the minis to appear if you are drunk in your home instance and hallucinate it so you have to fight it for a special event. It would be very fun to be able to have some use for your home instance.
Lore – I’d like to be able to find out more about lore in game, maybe by adding a few things this could be improved as well. Adding books in secret areas to tell lore and secrets about the area, or maybe just little short stories. It would add even more fun to exploration. And maybe you could find treasure maps in certain books, or books that lead to other books. Maybe certain mobs in the area could drop clues or event items that show even more about lore. For example, a wolf ate a note and you killed it and found the note, maybe reading that could lead you to a special event when holding the item.
That’s all i have to say. I’m not sure if anyone will agree with me on these issues but i think it would be nice to see them implemented/fixed.
