Gameplay in this game is limited more by playstyle and less by profession. I love that
concept.

1) Please allow us to make easier informed decisions about which profession we
want to play by letting us see all of the trait descriptions even though they are
locked from level one. For example, instead of blocking out 2nd or 3rd tier traits (I
should be able to see all the traits I can slot into a line even if I can’t use them
until I spend points) list them greyed out. Label the skills at the top of the
description as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd tier trait skills with the description of what the
trait does. As things are, to see all your traits you just go into the mists at
level 2 (once you leave the starter instance) and you can look at everything in your
traits there. This is a bit of a pain in the butt though continuously refunding and
spending points to see which trait line does what though.

2) Skill descriptions need to be visible even though they are locked on the hotbar.

Doing these two things (mostly the trait page tweak) would allow players to better map out what direction they want to go with their character and allow players to better choose a profession based on their personal playstyle from level one.

3) Please consider an area (aoe) corpse loot option.

4) with so many account based things, why not crafting skills? If I learn a crafting skill on one character, why not make that same crafting skill available to all the characters on my account? It’s not game changing, just streamlined. It only makes it so I dont have to log out to switch characters. I already spent the time skilling up that particular crafting skill. Make it so you can only gain crafting skill points if you are crafting on the particular character that has that specific craft skill. Character (A) has weaponsmithing-skill level 170/armorsmithing-skill level 400, character (B) has huntsman-skill level 200/leatherworking-skill level 400, and character © is a jeweller-skill level 80. While playing character ©I would have access to weaponsmithing / armorsmith / huntsman / leatherworking, and my own jewelcrafting, but I could only gain skill points for jewelcrafting while on character ©. In order to raise weaponsmithing for instance I’d have to log onto character (A) and work on that particular profession. This would prevent us from having to bounce around characters to craft items by simply streamlining the crafting process as a whole.
This last suggestion about crafting, if your only arguement is soulbound items, just make the recipes that create soulbound items only craftable by the particular character that has that crafting profession. The recipe would just need to be greyed out to the other characters on that account to prevent any type of ‘exploit’ situation.

I’d rather be playing the game than writing this post.

1. and 2. can be easily answered by the wiki, even form in-game by typing /wiki.
3 is something that I would encourage for sure. Hitting F once rather than key-spamming it would be nice.

If you mean the weapon skill descriptions, you can already see their full descriptions from one of the tabs in the Skills section of your Hero panel. There’s Traits, Slot Skills and Weapon Skills, which show you the full descriptions even if they’re still locked. I use this all the time to try to decide which weapon or combination to try next.

That being said, I agree that I can’t see much of a reason to keep these descriptions hidden on the hotbar itself if the information is available anyway on a different panel.
