I’m sure that each of the following suggestions has its own thread, but I’m putting what I would like to say here not only because by putting the comments in the right thread may cause them to not even be read in the first place, but also these are suggestions more than anything else.
1) Please make the unlimited harvesting tools account bound. I’m fine with them being available temporarily and their high price (800 gems, ~25 gold), but Soul bound for such an expensive limited time offer item is taking it too far.
2) Rabid stat armor needs to be able to be crafted. This should have been available even before the celestial stat, of which can now be crafted with the new Bazaar of the Four Winds update.
3) The elementalist air skills for the staff could really use some beefing up. The tooltip states higher damage, but skills themselves are pretty terrible when it comes to damage. The pushback doesn’t even do damage, and static field is laughable except for the brief stun. The only time I use it is when I know a combo can be made with someone else who is shooting projectiles.
4) I keeping hearing about ascended weapons and armor, so here is a suggestion or two. After all this time of people going through dungeons to get the looks and/or stats that they want, the last thing they would want to do is to grind them all over again to obtain their ascended gear.
So perhaps these items can be obtained similar to how ascended jewelry is currently obtained such as by laurels and guild commendations. This will still allow for the longer time-span to obtain these items which it seems like what Anet wants when it comes to grabbing our ascended gear, but without the grind. Both armor and weapons do not have to use laurels and/or commendations, perhaps a new form of currency could be made for say just ascended armor.
Another thing I thought about that uses parts of the game that already exist is that when we obtain an ascended armor piece or weapon, it will work similar to the super backpack cover. But instead of keeping the stats and changing the look, the stats are upgraded to ascended quality and the looks remain the same so that we can still keep the looks of our weapons and armor that we already picked out and obtained a long time ago.
As for runes and sigils, I’m not sure on that. It seems like infusion slots will replace upgrade slots, that is unless ascended weapons and armor retain upgrade slots rather than having infusion slots like ascended jewelry currently does now.
I’d be more than happy to read comments that further expand these ideas or critique them.
