A personal Encyclopedia/Journal
basically the wiki in-game?
Yes, but you’re the one that piece together the information into collections of short stories about the world and its people. You could have one entry about the Foefire spell but then when collect the pieces of information around the ruins of Ascalon about Adelbern, you have a complete short story about the King Adelbern, his son and his kingdom.

…00th Thread that was made suggesting something similar. I hope Anet is getting the idea by now that we want more Lore in-game!
A similar idea was voiced in the lore forums, or well, ideas. From a personal codex much like in Bioware RPGs, covering every possible lore there could be in the game from a point of view outside the 4th wall, to even massive libraries or at least a library interface in specific places like the Durmand Priory (for exploration and history lore), Vigil Headquarters (catalogue of dangerous flora and fauna, studies and records of historical battles, war strategy plans for various scenarios) and the Whispers Hideout (political backgrounds, blackmail material on influential characters, maybe some extra on the story of Abaddon and Kormir or Elona), all these from debateable ingame sources, like books written by NPCs.
All in all, i would be happy with any addition to the lore experience of the game.
