hi as the title says:

The underwater areas in the game are some of the most beautiful and mysterious in the game, yet most people I have talked to don’t seek them out at all and if they are forced to go underwater, do what they have to do and get to dry land as soon as possible.

I have a couple of suggestions that might make the underwater areas more appealing to people:

1) A separate tab for underwater skills that you can pick yourself and gets unlocked by earning skill points for it underwater.
This way a player is more invested in the way his character behaves underwater and you also have more choices.

2) More underwater weapons, that are class specific and more choices.
- think ink grenades , a range of sonic weapons that maybe apply a mark so that subsequent attacks by allies do more damage, nets, etc etc.

I realize a lot of these are already skills on various underwater weapons, my suggestion would be to spread it out over several weapon choices.

I am basically suggesting that your character has a separate skill/trait/weapon tab- for underwater.
What do you guys think?

I love the underwater areas.

I hate the underwater combat. Way too many of the attacks move me huge distances, aggroing additional mobs, sometimes many additional mobs, as well as disorienting me since I have no idea what direction this stuff is going to move me.

Being able to break the abilities down a bit, as you describe, would help. Not bouncing me all over the map would also help.
