I think many people who are making their own legendary are a bit sad that everyone with a big pocket can buy them of the TP now.

How about a title for crafting one in the MF?
That way people who did at least craft one on their own could show off they did not buy it and it wouldn’t affect anyone elses play
(even though i’d still like account-bound on acquire, or making them unsellable on TP more)

Even though i don’t think there will be many people to upvote/comment this and Anet will most likely never see it, the spark of hope still glows..

In the previous game I played, each crafted gear (weapon, ornament or armor) wear the name of the crafter in this way :

Manufactured by xxxxxxx

Where xxxx is the name of the crafter.

I think having the name of the crafter on every crafted item would be a good idea, not just legendaries – but it would solve this particular issue. An achievement title such as ‘Legendary Weaponsmith’ etc would help too.

I like the “manufactured by…” idea (but just for really special loot, not for anything less than a named exotic). There’s a title for wielding a legendary — I think it’s fair trade off that someone who wants to sell their product has to give up that title. Then again, I don’t see the harm in offering both titles (crafted and wielded).
