I think many people who are making their own legendary are a bit sad that everyone with a big pocket can buy them of the TP now.

How about a title for crafting one in the MF?
That way people who did at least craft one on their own could show off they did not buy it and it wouldn’t affect anyone elses play
(even though i’d still like account-bound on acquire, or making them unsellable on TP more)

Even though i don’t think there will be many people to upvote/comment this and Anet will most likely never see it, the spark of hope still glows..

I’d like to see legendary weapons account-bound on acquire.

+1 I’m working on crafting my own legendary and I don’t want people to think I bought it off the Trading Post.
I think the only thing that’d be in the way of this is giving people who already crafted a legendary the title, I don’t think the game currently keeps track of who has crafted a legendary weapon in the mystic forge so it’d be hard to determine who to give the title and who not.

maybe use a screen recorder, or FRAPS the crafting process? i saw a few video attempts on youtube, maybe you all can do the same? a screenshot might not have the same effect as an actual attempt video.

also, there is also a title/award that displays on the character selection screen “Equip a Legendary”

oh lord…..so you want to be separated from people who work for a living and don’t have the time to spend gathering mats?

some people work 12 hour a day factory jobs and only get to play two days a week if that….could you imagine trying to get that “craft your legendary” achievement only playing the game two days a week?

on the other hand, that guy also makes bank, and rightfully has the option to buy his legendary to quicken the pace

sorry but this is a “i wanna flash my kitten” moment, and arenanet doesn’t support that
