I think there should be an afk mode for in game. What i mean is a way to become impervious while afk. Now before you bite my head off hear me out. Lunch/Dinner, bathroom, phone, just taking a break, someone knocks on your door, and things like that you walk for 5 minutes and your dead. Now i know some are going to say just go to a town or find a safe spot blah blah blah… or this can be abused blah blah blah…or people will just sit there forever blah blah blah. I thought this through and here’s what i propose:

1)Can only be done under same circumstances that you can waypoint travel
I.E. Can’t just go afk when in combat and about to die
2)While in afk mode you cannot gain any experience for what other may kill around you
3)There’s time limit to how long you can stay afk before an auto disconnect
4)If you move, attack, or otherwise engage in game you lose afk mode
5)There’s a disabled time from when last used
I.E. coming out of afk mode for any reason you cant go back for 30 minutes or some arbitrary time like that.
6)Just meant to be so you don’t lose your place while mapping or having to use waypoints, or having to relog.

This already exists in the game. Just use your HoM Portal Stone when you need to go AFK. It takes you to the HoM where you’re completely safe from harm, and when you use it again it takes you back to where you were.

Or log off to character selection screen.

use the hall of monuments stone.

or just log off to the character selection screen.
