Guild Wars 2

I have searched for it, but cannot find the link regarding the rationale for World Experience being character specific as opposed to account specific.

I wonder why they could not just have each character share the same rank and experience, but let each character choose their own points to allocate (Ideal). But at the minimum I would like to have the ranks in one character apply to another.

Its the reason why I cringe at the thought of playing an alt in WvWvW. I feel like I am just burning points!!!

I do not want my guardian to have the same allocation as my mesmer.

It would also be unfair to get rank 100 on my mesmer, make a brand new toon, then be rank 100 on that toon as well.

I know, but do you know how long it takes for you to GET to rank 100?
