Hello all,
I know my title might not make too much sense, but here’s my question, or rather an explanation and then question.
Every day, the daily achievement resets at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. This time is quite inconvenient as an evening of playing, if I were to play at night, might be from 7:00 to 10:00, give or take an hour. This means whatever I do gets reset in the middle of my playing time. What are the complications of having each account have their own 24 hour day starting at their own time? I don’t know what the technological reasons could be, but from my point of view, couldn’t each player enter his account, set their reset time (a good time for me would be 4:00 AM Eastern Time), and in the next day or two, it goes into effect for that account? This way, from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep, I will experience the same “day” in GW2.
I cannot find a downside to this. WvW resets, as well as any global event, can still be on server time (Pacific Time I believe), but as for daily achievements that only involve the player of the account, I don’t see why a day must change in the middle of that player’s play time.
