Well, I thought about that it could be awesome if your dyes were shared amongst all your characters and not just the one you got the dye on.

This has been suggested many times, and while it would be nice for us as players, it is meant to b a money sink, therefore its not as practical as we would want it to be, plus think of all the people with 8+ characters that have abyss dye on each of them, are they going to get their money back? I think not.

What he said, also to add these threads are becoming as bad as the old dueling, mounts, guild halls, inspect threads. Dead horse. Although there are times I wish i had account bond dyes ( celestial, midnight fire, abyss ) but other times I enjoy collecting the common ones

Plus ANet took down the blog where they promised the dyes would be account bound.

All that remains is their lame excuse as to why they made them character based while we all know it is for them to make money out of it somehow.

And if players can farm 184+ gold to afford 8 Abyss dyes, then they obviously know how to farm that much gold and 184 gold is simple pocket change to them.

They took down a lot of their older blogs, not just the one discussing dyes. They’re not trying to hide anything; there is no conspiracy.
