I had 8 gold stolen from me a few days ago and to my shock the player was back in game in 2 days. Not only did he scam me but then pretended to be an anet gm 2 breaches of tos and he is still playing.
I bought gems and turned them into gold so what he has stolen from me is money.
Is it fun? yes or no … no

If this is true, then you beter contact Anet support center.
Did he say he was a Krytan prince that needed your help to secure his inheritance? All you needed to do was mail him 8 gold so that he could deal with the legal fees and split the money with you.
Or did he say he was a game inspector and wanted you to help him test out the in-game mail system? He needed you to mail him 8 gold to make sure that the game was running correctly.
Unless he hacked your account, he didn’t steal anything. You willingly gave it to him. You can’t patch stupidity.
