Account safety/ Regional blocks
But isn’t that what the mail verification is for?
This is a really good idea. I don’t see myself trying to login from anywhere outside my region, so blocking attempts from those regions makes sense.
I have to say this is probably one of the best security suggestions I have ever seen being made, and it shouldn’t just be by country, but by STATE or PROVINCE.
Hell, it could even be by CITY.
For example, if I log in to the site right now, it tells me which city, province and country I’m currently logging in from. Why can’t I tell my account to refuse any log in attempts from another location?
In the event of emergencies, moves, trips, stuff like that, then either:
1. disable the extra security before you move,
2. send an email to support proving you are the account owner to have it disabled.
I do agree with this. While I haven’t been hacked, thankfully, I do believe that preemptively preventing hackers from trying to access your account with a region lock for your account would be best.

At the moment, there is only ONE city that I could log in from and that’s my home computer.
My biggest issue is that I go to college, and I take my computer home with me. I would therefore have to limit this to the United States rather than by state, if that was an option. I couldn’t even do region as I go from the Southwest to the East Coast. Otherwise, I would really like to have this implemented so that at the very least I can say nobody outside of the US can access my account.
There would have to be a way to change this, however. Life happens, people move out of the country…
