Achievement improvements
Add skins to some Achievements:
- Weapon Skins for Weapon Master (i.e. Adept’s / Veteran’s / Grandmaster’s Greatsword)
- Armour skins for Slayer (i.e. Drakescale Plate / Leathers / [something to do with cloth])
Add more titles:
- Conqueror of [Dungeon] when you got the armour set
- Bane of [Enemy] for Slayer
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
A “Gamer” title for winning minigames during the holidays, like the GW1 title. There is already a title for Kegbrawl so that minigame does not count.
A “Drunkard” title for being intoxicated for 10,000 minutes like the original GW1 title before it was changed. Alcohol in GW2 is dirt cheap and no longer drops from holiday monsters/gifts/chests. If ArenaNet doesn’t want to go down that road again, then increase the amount of alcohol that should be consumed so it’s not super easy.
A “Skill Hunter” title for owning all utility skills, discovering all the weapon skills, unlocking all elite skills, and completing all skill points throughout the continent of Tyria.
A “Party Animal” title for using tonics and winning matches in Costume Brawl.
A “Survivor” title for achieving a certain amount of EXP before death, being downed does not reset the amount of EXP.
A “Sweet Tooth” title for consuming desserts and snacks.
A “King of the Feast” title for consuming meals and soups.
Different personal story titles depending on your rank during your personal story, why are you called a “Slayer” or “Savant” or the “Hero of Shaemoor?” During Nightfall you earned titles through killing the monsters between zones and were rewarded points that counted for the Lightbringer and Sunspear title tracks for completing missions and quests as well. The Sunspear title was even required to accept a mission in Nightfall.
A “Wisdom” title for all the level 68 or higher weapons, armor, and jewelry of RARE and EXOTIC rarity the player has salvaged with any kit. Obviously it is the player’s loss if they decide to salvage such items with cheap kits for no Globs of Ectoplasm and sigils/runes.
A “Treasure Hunter” for the dungeon chests, jumping puzzle chests, and reward chests for Tequatl the Sunless, The Shatterer, and The Claw of Jormag the player has successfully opened.
In the end, it’s always ArenaNet’s choice. They can change the requirements, names of the title tracks, and titles themselves but these titles could fit into the second game just as they did in the first, would be nice to have them around again.
i agree with Jovel. As it seems now you are jsut grinding titles for nothing it would be nicer to have to old gw1 titles back so u can atleast aim for something and take more effort in doing the titles. if i now kill 1000 krait i just feel like i got a achievement and what now it got no title and nothing to work towards.

there already is a drinking achievment – the thirst one in the community tab (i think). it sits there with the All you can eat title (eat 800 consumable items).
the drinking one requires 100,000 points.
the all you can eat title takes 11,200 karma – buying slices of eda’s pie for 14 karma/each. (just finished that one, starting on drinking one)
- All You Can Eat would cost 8 silver, since there are loads of food items available for 1c each.
- The cheapest coin-vendor drinks are about 8c/point, or about 80 gold to max Thirst Slayer.
- The cheapest karma-vendor drinks are 7 karma/point, requiring about 700,000 karma.
Interestingly, while there are all sorts of benefits to consuming food, AYCE requires far fewer points than TS, even though drinking alcohol has no in-game benefit.
Leveling up cooking got me that achievement alone.
