TL;DR:
Add an option that would show a bold bright border around your cursor in combat and an option to add cross-hairs to the screen while mouse-turning/looking.
With high intensity combat in pvp, all the spell effects and flashing, and mouse turning/looking.. it is VERY easy to lose track of your mouse cursor. This hampers targeting specific enemies and placing your cursor for a ground targeted skill.
Yes you can tab-target instead of clicking on your target, but half the time I’m trying to tab-target someone right in front of me it selects everyone except who I want, and I end up having to cycle through about 9 targets before I get it. In these cases clicking is a much better option.
For ground targeting, yes when you click the skill you can get a nice colorful graphic indicating where the spell will land, but I really prefer using fast ground targeting and just being able to place my cursor for where I want the spell to go and I would love to be able to do it while mouse-turning.
Suggestions for Improvement:
-Add a selection in options that would add a thick bright border around your cursor during combat.
-Add a selection in options that will center your cursor and change it to a cross-hair while mouse-looking or mouse-turning (while you are holding down either the left or right mouse button)
These two additions would improve combat gameplay tremendously. You would be able to easily use ground targeted abilities on the fly while mouse-turning/looking by aiming with the cross-hairs an using the skill. You would also easily be able to select the specific target you want quickly by not losing sight of your cursor.
