Add DR to champ loot bags and dynamic events
I never thought I’d see the day when people asked for DR.
I don’t think players should be herded around with penalties, but encouraged to explore with incentives. It might be better if instead of a penalty, champions who have been up for a while (often a long time) or that haven’t been done for a long time reward far more loot than ones killed every 8 minutes or whatever. Just my 2c though.

I like this idea. Have it work similarly to how bonus XP increases the longer a creature or npc has been alive.
Make it worthwhile to actually go seek out those champions in out of the way areas.
Except people will likely not. They’d rather farm 5+ champions in the time it would takes to find and kill the one champion that hasn’t been killed in awhile. RNG is still RNG so whatever increase that is made would likely not be noticeable.
1) I am against the increase of spawn timers.
2) DR is something that I’m utterly against.
3) If DEs have loot equivalent to the farming champions, we wouldn’t see an outbreak of angry farmers not getting their loot.
You see what happens when anet made their game grindy? This is in part of anet’s fault. If everyone had their own form of equivalent loot gain, I’m sure there’s nothing to complain about, everyone gets their slice of pie.
But you’re trying to remove the pie from someone’s hands? Of course they will get angry. I rather anet made it that doing whatever you want, DEs, dungeons, farming champs = more or less same reward (but harder events/dungeons can get more reward).

Then you’ll see forum posts about how people are being yelled at because they killed the champ too early.
I am against DR measures and am starting to tire of the attempts to curb farming. There are occasions that I’d like to make a quick bit of gold but because of drop nerfs, I’m not able to make that little bit fast enough. I already earn gold at a glacial pace as it is.
Because of the current farm and the history of nerfing, I am going to take advantage of the current farm.
If farming hadn’t been nerfed, I wouldn’t have cared to farm with this or any event.

I just call out the champs as i see them, wait for a few people to join, then engage the champ. then it’s their choice to come or not. if people start yelling, well, they need to grow up
Experience points? Who cares? Leveling is so fast in this game already. What they can do however is reduce the experience from champion-specific DEs. There’s no real reason for a complicated DR system that’s only going to cause rage from the people wanting to farm it “properly.”
You can’t add DR to the loot inside bags. There is also no precedent for reducing something like the guaranteed loot off the champion itself. What you can do however is nerf the rewards or chance of rewards inside the bags.
As for the champion zerg train, something does need to be done to balance it with the other content so this type of farming behavior doesn’t occur. I recommend nerfs.

Making rewards easier to obtain is short-sighted. You get your easy coins, but the economy suffers greatly with inflation and even more alternate currency becomes the new way to buy all the new stuff.
I dont think there is that much gold to make with the current farming. ive done the path a bit and honestly, yes you can make up to 10g/hour on a good run, that means when commander knows what hes doing, and when other smaller zergs arent messing up the rotation, which is like, pretty much never. This leads to many people overrating the profitability of this farm imo, and seeing how poorly this farm gets done, I dont think dr or a nerf are in place. The 5 gambit farm is a wayyyy bigger problem, even if it only stays for this period of time, some people already have made 2000g+ on it…
No dr or nerf on this please. If you nerf or dr it, champions again, wont be worth actively pursuing and adding champion loot in the first place will be worthless
Has anyone noticed the cost of tier 6 mats and lodestones drop directly in reguards to “farming” of champions? I swear 1 charged lodestone was around 3.5 gold before this event and now it is around 2.2-2.5 gold. Man we definitely need to do something to get those mats more expensive, said no one ever.
DR kills every game.
