Please add an “Equipable” selection box to the buy on trading post filter screen. The function would be, if checked, it would only show armor and weapons that can be worn or used by your current class. If you are buying for a Guardian while playing a Mesmer you can leave it unchecked and see all the armors and weapons. But if you are playing a Ranger you can check the box and only see the medium armors and weapons (and other items) that a Ranger can equip. It is very frustrating to page through screens looking for armor items when 2 out of 3 items probably can’t be worn by your class. It is even worse on the weapons screens since many of the items may not be usable by the character class.

That would be something better than we have, but I still prefer the oft-suggested idea of having an armor weight filter. Your way would mean the Mesmer would have to slog through it all for the Guardian, instead of just saying “show me the Heavy!”

I’d love to have an equipable weapon filter, though, as you point out. I haven’t seen that suggested before. So long as one can still freely select any level, that part’s golden.
