The Norn dance is based on Carlton, a pop culture sensation, which is equivalent to an internet sensation for the older generation.
The Human dance is based on Everyday We Be Shuffling by LMFAO, which is basically another pop culture sensation.
Neither of them are “regular dances”. They got popular from someone like PSY, making it look hilarious and fun.

If i am not mistaken Aion offers several different dance animations that you can choose from. I do not know what making this possible entails but i do know i would buy gems to purchase different dances for my characters.
I wish they would put the Guild Wars 1 dances in the gem store. My necro needs to be able to do the Thriller dance. That dance fits that profession so well.

Gangnam style sounds nice but it can’t be the only add-on dance. We need classics like Thriller to balance things out.

Anet…Please focus on things we need and not dances. Ya know, things like Guild management (I would still like to talk to multiple guilds at the same time but there are so many things that need assistance in this catagory), a LFG system, WvW and others. This is not important.
Plus, if they come out with the tengu, they will do the chicken dance. YOU ALL KNOW IT. =p
