Playing Guild Wars 2 can sometimes be a frustrating experience for a chronic clock watcher like me, as the only way to know what time it is is to minimize the game to see my computer clock, or go to the trouble of finding where I set my cell phone down.

Yeah, this may seem trivial, but sometimes when you really get into a gaming session you lose track of time. This can be bad for a couple reasons. Either, you are staying up too late or you miss the time when you need to go somewhere for an appointment.

Its a problem easily fixed by simply adding a clock to the User Interface. The player should be able to decide where to stick the thing, either in a corner, or the upper or lower part of the screen, as well as what time zone to set it too. The player could also have the option of disabling it if he or she wishes. Seems like this would be a simple thing to do.

There is an ingame clock. You can set it to show from your options, either on your local time or the server time.

Only fools and heroes charge in without a plan.

I find myself alt-tabbing just to check the time before deciding to do a dungeon. An in game clock is a good idea.

Perhaps it should be standard to turn it off rather then on? I had no idea this option existed.

Yeah…there’s no manual. I guess they like you to find stuff on your own. :P
