Title says (almost) all of it.
For those who are clueless to what I am talking about, this:

I would really like to see an opportunity to get this item in-game again w/o forking out 250g+ on TP for it…and preferably not in BL chests either :P Even if it would again only be a chance that wouldn’t around forever I would be somewhat happy.

Out of curiosity, why was the recipe removed in the first place? I would kinda like to see it return, the conduit would be handy to have it for emergencies.

Because that way could ANet make a few months later a usable Mini-Forge for a few days sellable in the Ingame SHop!

They don’t want us all to have such a comfortable tool, because its better to sell the Consortium Mini-Forges in the Shop for them…
However, wouldn’t mind either, if they come back one day with the Mini-Forge and let them be then a permanent item, together with removign all the old recipe items from the game to forge the old conduit (those who have already forged a conduit can keep them)

Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside

On the contrary, the idea from the beginning was to ensure that the number of conduits was limited, so that they would hold value to those who invested in them originally.

The conduit is a clear example of a luxury item and was never meant to be affordable for the masses: you can obtain the services for free in Lion’s Arch. The only time conduits are worth the investment is if you consistently offer thousands of items Zommoros.

Even so, the prices dropped between February and May, again over the summer, and also in October and November. The conduits could have been purchased for a little as 30g (March) to 50g (summer) to 100g (October).

And as it turns out, as has been true for much of the conduit’s history, you can buy one, use if for a month, and resell it without losing much coin. (Buy now at 190g, sell in January for 240g — you’d still turn a profit.)

It might be useful to throw a few more into circulation to make up for those lost due to banned accounts.

And where did you find this out/who told you this…? I know for a fact I sadly didn’t know the conduit existed back when it was available… but I do know the Mystic chests its components came in were introduced as a “quick fix” to the economy to resolve the overabundance of some crap like butter and iron.
